Machine
Vision / Field Service Technician

Typical responsibilities in this position include:
- On-site
installation and programming of vision and automation equipment at
customers facilities across North America and potentially
internationally.
- Technical
service and support of custom machine vision solutions, including
phone support, troubleshooting hardware/software issues and
documenting results.
- Assist
with the development of solutions (to include Vision Guided
Robotics) utilizing 2D and 3D machine vision technology,
programming skills and creative thinking;
- Participation
as member of vision R&D team.
- Continually
skill development through formal and informal training relating to
machine vision, controls, robotics and other automation systems.

The desired candidate will possess some of the following
attributes:
- Mechatronic,
Electrical, Computer or other related technical diploma / degree or
an individual with experience in machine vision, automation,
robotics or programming;
- Ability
to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong
ability to communicate both written and verbal;
- Knowledge
of PLC, electronics, robot programming and automation is an asset;
- Knowledge
of computer programming including Microsoft Visual C# is
considered an asset;
- The
desire to work hard and challenge yourself by expanding your
knowledge and learning new technologies and applying them in a
diversity of industries.
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.
Senior Mechanical Designer
Must have excellent 3D SolidWorks capability. Must be capable of design,
detail and check. Must have experience (10+ yrs)
in the concept and design process of automated systems and machines.
- Will
require significant travel abroad;
- Requires
strong written and oral communication skills;
- An
excellent compensation package is available.

Senior Controls Engineer
Must be proficient with most
major PLC platforms (i.e. AB, Siemens, Omron, etc.) and have experience
(10+ yrs) in controls design (i.e. Hardware
Selection, Panel Layout, Machine Wire Diagrams, etc.) and programming
(i.e. PLC, HMI and Motion Control) associated with automated systems
and machines. Machine vision and robot programming experience would be
an asset.
